Michelle has helped shape Midwest Healthcare Services into a trusted in-home care provider across Kansas and Missouri by building dependable teams, responsive systems, and lasting relationships with clients, families, and referral partners.

Sierra Morrison is a dedicated caregiver at Midwest Healthcare Services who brings both clinical knowledge and heartfelt compassion to every client she serves. As a Certified Nurse Aide with experience primarily in memory care, Sierra has developed a strong ability to build trust, provide reassurance, and create a supportive environment for individuals and families.

Sierra believes every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued. That belief is what inspired her to pursue caregiving and continues to shape the way she approaches each day. She finds great fulfillment in forming meaningful relationships and helping clients remain comfortable and cared for at home.

What Sierra values most about home care is the flexibility and personalized support it provides. She understands that every family’s needs are unique and believes quality care should fit naturally into each client’s lifestyle and routine.

Known for her proactive, intuitive approach, Sierra works to anticipate needs before they arise while maintaining a positive attitude and dependable presence. She believes the best care is built on compassion, communication, and doing the little extra things that make clients feel truly supported.

Outside of work, Sierra enjoys running, pet sitting, and spending time with her husband. Her guiding principle comes from Psalm 118:24: “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

Hugh brings extensive healthcare leadership experience in business development, strategic growth, and organizational planning. As Director of Marketing and Talent Acquisition at Midwest Healthcare Services, he focuses on expanding the agency’s community partnerships, strengthening brand presence, and recruiting the compassionate caregivers who make quality home care possible.

Throughout his career, Hugh has led healthcare outreach initiatives, strategic partnership development, and growth programs designed to help organizations build sustainable services while maintaining a strong focus on patient needs.
His broad healthcare background allows him to understand not only how organizations grow, but how the right relationships and the right people directly impact the quality of care families receive.

As HR Partner at Midwest Healthcare Services, Mia Simone helps support the people who make quality care possible. From employee relations and communication to onboarding and day-to-day team support, she plays an important role in creating a workplace where caregivers feel valued, prepared, and empowered to serve families well.

Mia first joined Midwest Healthcare Services as a college intern, where she gained an early understanding of the organization’s mission and the importance of dependable in-home care. After graduating, she returned to the team full-time, bringing a fresh perspective, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed.

Known for her approachable nature, empathy, and thoughtful decision-making, Mia works closely with employees and leadership to foster trust, fairness, and a strong service culture. She believes exceptional care begins with a supported team and clear communication at every level.

Outside of work, Mia enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Luna.

For Jordanna Whitley, home care is more than a profession — it is a calling built on compassion, connection, and helping others remain safe and independent at home.

Jordanna began her healthcare journey in high school as a nurse aide and quickly discovered a passion for serving others. With more than 15 years of nursing experience, including 12 years with Midwest Healthcare Services, she brings trusted clinical knowledge and heartfelt dedication to every family she supports.

As an LPN and Care Coordinator, Jordanna helps ensure each client receives personalized, thoughtful care while families feel informed and supported along the way. She is known for building strong relationships with both clients and caregivers and for approaching every patient with the same kindness and attentiveness she would want for her own family.

Jordanna believes excellent care starts with treating patients like family and providing services tailored to their individual needs. Her compassionate nature, strong work ethic, and commitment to helping others maintain independence make her an invaluable part of the Midwest Healthcare Services team.

Outside of work, Jordanna enjoys being a mom and spending time outdoors with her family, especially fishing, hunting, and gardening.
